NFL Planning To Play Black National Anthem During Week 1


Roger Goodell and the NFL have dealt with racial inequality for years now. Colin Kaepernick was condemned for kneeling during the National Anthem. With the NFl league being 70 percent  black players, where was the support for the African Americancommunity.

Goodell has recently apologized for the NFL response and action and has pledged 250 million to black causes over the next few years. Now NFL is planning on changing the
anthem up a little bit, for Week 1. The league is planning on playing “Lift Ev’ry Voice And Sing” before each game during week 1 of the NFL season, which is considered  the “Black National Anthem.” This is following the trend of  NASCAR race, which the song was recently played at recent race. During these times alot of business have done 360 turn around on supporting of Black Lives Matter and George Floyd Protests around the world.
