Lyft Introduces New Initiative LyftUp

Lyft wants to help the community and remove the barriers that prevent people from accessing essential necessities and opportunities. This new initiative called the LyftUp Access Alliance, where Lyft is joining forces with organizations that will connect individuals who can benefit the most. LyftUp is teaming up with.

-Black Women’s Roundtable

-United Negro College Fund

-NAACP

-US Black Chamber of Commerce

-Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law

-The National Action Network

Together, we will provide access to 1.5 million rides helping the Black communities get to a network of resources and services. With millions of Black men and women out of work, this support is more important than ever. From COVID testing and food delivery to mental health services and job access, the LyftUp Access Alliance will provide access to the essential resources that underserved Black communities need.
