21 SAVAGE LAUNCHES FREE ONLINE FINANCIAL LITERACY PROGRAM “BANK ACCOUNT AT HOME”

Back in 2018, 21 Savage launched “Bank Account Financial Literacy Program” named after his 2017 track “Bank Account. The Bank Account program aims to help boost financial literacy in children across the country, and now he is extending this service for online use.

“Bank Account at Home” is a new online financial literacy program that 21 has launched in partnership with community engagement company EVERFI and banking company CHIME.

The free program is a “direct response” to the COVID-19 pandemic that forced students to take their education online.

“During these uncertain times 21 Savage feels that financial literacy is more important than ever and should be made available for free to the next generation to empower them to succeed with the right tools on their journey,” the press release reads.

The program has been designed specifically for K-12 students with elementary aged students learning the basic concepts of money management, middle school students learning about financial planning and high school students learning about budgeting and entrepreneurship.

“Now that times are hard as ever during this pandemic and so many families are affected across the country I feel it’s more important than ever to give our next generation the tools to succeed in life,” said the rapper said.
